Marquee disclaimer agreement
Please read and agree to the Ts&Cs set out here regarding setting a cake up in a marquee.
1: I/We have spoken to Peboryon about our request to have our cake set up in a marquee.
2: I/We have had the issues explained to us and understand the risks.
3: I/We will ensure the table (or whatever furniture the cake is to be set up on) is 100% level.
4: I/We will ensure the cake table/furniture is not set up by any heaters or marquee windows.
5: I/We will provide a standard fan or air conditioning/dehumidifying unit for the area where the cake will be set up.
6: I/We understand that Peboryon reserve the right to refuse to set the cake up in the marquee if we decide the above conditions have not been met.
7: I/We understand that Peboryon reserve the right to change the agreed set up of the cake if they deem the stability or safety of the cake might be at risk.
8: One days where the internal temperature is above 22C or it is exceptionally sunny the cake will need to be kept cool until required. This means the fans or A/C must be activated. Or the cake will need to be set up elsewhere.
9: If, on arrival, Peboryon deem the marquee to be too hot to safely leave the cake we reserve the right to refuse to set up.
10: I/We understand that an alternative set up space out of the marquee, in a suitably protected building, will be available. And this space will be suitable for the cake.
11: I/We understand that, in a marquee, fresh flowers may wilt.
12: I/We understand that any humidity in the marquee may cause sugar flowers to melt. Wafer paper flowers are recommended for marquees. Any colours may bleed. Fondant can sweat and buttercream can melt.
13: I/We have read the advice about cakes in marquees on the Peboryon website and in the emails exchanged with Peboryon.
Please keep a copy of this document for reference and reply to us to agree to the Ts&Cs outlined.
Any questions please contact us, and we will be happy to discuss any concerns.
